Cleveland, Ohio - The Alliance Premier Soccer League is{C}{C}{C} pleased to announce The Ohio State Cup 2014 The Alliance Premier Soccer League (APSL) was formed in the year 2003 and currently has 400 teams participating in its US Club sanctioned league. APSL has member clubs coming out of Northern Ohio, Central Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. With approximately 6000 players the APSL is a member of US Club Soccer and the US Soccer Federation. Format: Traditional Round Robin play with Championship Games U8-U10 Teams play 7v7, U11 Teams play 9v9; U12-U17 teams 11v11 (U12 can play either 9v9 or 11v11 however only 11v11 can advance to Regionals) Cost: All 7v7 and 9v9 divisions $475 All 11v11 divisions $575 All U11-U19 Ohio State Cup Champions in each age group advance to the 2014 US Club Regionals (Super Group) to be held in Chicago. (With the exception of U12 9v9 division) The Alliance Premier Soccer League pays for entry fee into the Regional event for the Championship team. About: US Club Soccer's State Cups allow clubs to develop a competitive format as they see best in their respective state, which may include multiple competition levels, a home-and-home series, team seeding as well as a flexible schedule and roster rules. Results from all US Club Soccer state cups will be factored into National Cup seeding. State cups are open to all US Club Soccer-carded teams. Teams that are not currently carded with US Club Soccer can easily do so prior to competing in a state cup. About the US Club National Cup: U13-U17 teams from each National Cup XIII Regional will advance to the National Cup XIII Finals where the National Champions will be in awarded in two divisions. |
